This week, Emerald Class gathered at St. John’s Church for a special Eucharist, led by Mother Mitzi. The service focused on themes of forgiveness and turning back to God, providing students with a meaningful opportunity for collective worship.
In the peaceful atmosphere of St. John’s Church, students reflected on the importance of saying “sorry” and how seeking forgiveness helps us reconnect with God. Collective worship is essential to our school’s spiritual life, offering moments to pause and direct our thoughts toward God.
A significant part of the service was the “Lamb of God” prayer, where we thought about Jesus’ role as a symbol of peace and forgiveness. This led into the sharing of Holy Communion, a tradition that recalls Jesus' sacrifice and love.
Emerald Class embraced this service with reverence, appreciating the significance of the Eucharist in their faith journey. We are grateful to Mother Mitzi and the church for hosting this meaningful occasion as we continue to grow in faith and community.
